The ÖLFLEX HEAT 180 SiF cable is a single-core silicone cable designed to operate in extreme temperatures – from -50°C to +180°C. Its flexible, stranded copper core ensures easy installation and reliable connections. This cable is ideal for applications where standard cables fail, and resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemicals is crucial.

Construction and application

The cable features a core cross-section of 0.75 mm² and a rated voltage of 500 V. Its construction based on silicone insulation provides not only thermal resistance but also flexibility even at low temperatures. This cable is used in heating devices, high-temperature lighting, as well as in the food and chemical industries, where contact with various substances is unavoidable. Tinned wire ends minimize the risk of corrosion and ensure a stable electrical connection.

Resistance and safety

This cable is distinguished by its high resistance to oils, alcohols, vegetable and animal fats, and other chemicals. This makes it suitable for harsh industrial conditions and applications exposed to aggressive substances. The cable's round cross-section facilitates installation, and the minimum bending radius of 14.4 mm allows for aesthetic and safe cable routing even in tight spaces. Please note that the cable does not have a screen or fire resistance classification (EN 13501-6).
