The ÖLFLEX® SERVO 2YSLCY-JB cable is a high-quality motor cable designed to transmit power in drive systems and industrial installations. It is characterized by double shielding, which minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC) and ensures stable signal transmission. The cable's construction allows it to be used in both fixed and dynamic installations, where flexibility and resistance to bending are required.

Construction and application

This cable is particularly recommended for connecting inverters to motors, enabling efficient power transmission even over longer distances. The cable's low electrical capacitance allows it to be used in complex systems without fear of signal loss. Thanks to the shielding, it meets the requirements of EN 61800-3 standard regarding electromagnetic compatibility. A version with a black outer jacket is available, intended for outdoor applications and direct burial in the ground.

Technical characteristics and construction

The ÖLFLEX® SERVO 2YSLCY-JB cable has 4 conductors with a cross-section of 35 mm², made of copper. The conductor insulation is made of polyethylene (PE), and the outer jacket of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The conductors are twisted concentrically, which further increases resistance to interference. The cable also has shielding in the form of an aluminum foil and a braid of tinned copper wires, providing effective protection against the influence of external electromagnetic fields. The minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 118 mm, which facilitates cable routing in tight spaces. The rated voltage U/U0 is 1 kV / 0.6 kV, and the maximum permissible conductor temperature is 70°C. The cable has a protective conductor, providing additional safety.
