Construction and properties

The strands are insulated with PVC, and the whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, which provides resistance to abrasion, oils, greases and many chemicals. Additionally, PUR is resistant to UV radiation, allowing the cable to be used in outdoor conditions. Numbered strand markings facilitate identification of individual wires during installation and servicing.
