Flexibility and resistance to external conditions

The PVC insulation guarantees good protection against mechanical damage and the influence of external factors. The wire retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C (fixed installation) and even up to +105°C (UL AWM), making it suitable for working in harsh conditions. The possibility of use in dry and humid rooms expands its scope of application.

Application and compliance with standards

ÖLFLEX® WIRE MS 2.1 is ideal for wiring circuits inside switchgear, machines and for fixed connections in protected installations. It has numerous certificates, including UL, which confirms its compliance with the requirements of the North American market. It also meets the European standard H07V-K (with the exception of selected colors and cross-sections), ensuring high quality and reliability. The wire is also used in AC and DC electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
