ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 115 CY cable is a versatile solution for control wiring, both indoors and outdoors. Made of copper and insulated with PVC, this cable provides reliable connections in machines, industrial installations and many other applications. Its flexible design makes installation easy, even in hard-to-reach places.

Features and application

The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 115 CY cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 300/500 V. It is suitable for medium mechanically stressed installations, both fixed and occasionally moving. It can be used in dry and humid rooms, as well as outdoors – it is resistant to weathering. The outer PVC jacket is characterized by resistance to acids and alkalis, as well as limited resistance to oils. The cable construction is also suitable for twisting applications, e.g. in wind turbines.

Protection and safety

A key feature of this cable is the copper braid shielding, which provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable meets the requirements of the Eca standard regarding reaction to fire (fire reaction class according to EN 13501-6: Eca), which guarantees safe use in accordance with EU Directive 305/2011 (BauPVO/CPR). This gives the installer confidence that the cable used meets applicable regulations and standards.

Additional advantages include reduced wall thickness, which saves space, and the possibility of removing the inner jacket – this reduces the weight and outer diameter of the cable, making installation easier. The conductor cross-section of 1 mm² provides adequate performance for many control applications. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.5 mm.
