The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 115 CY cable is a professional solution for control circuit wiring in industrial automation. The four-core design with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² per conductor ensures reliable transmission of control signals at a voltage of 300/500V. The copper braid screen guarantees effective protection against electromagnetic interference, making it an ideal choice for precision automation systems.
Construction and materials ensuring reliability
The multi-wire conductor construction (class 5) made of bare copper provides high flexibility while maintaining mechanical durability. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation and outer sheath provide the cable with resistance to acids and alkalis, as well as limited resistance to oils. The black outer sheath is UV-resistant, enabling safe use in outdoor applications.
The compact design without an inner sheath reduces the outer diameter to 7 mm, resulting in space savings during installation. At the same time, it reduces the total weight of the cable, facilitating cable routing in hard-to-reach areas.
Operating parameters and service conditions
The cable maintains full functionality across a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C in fixed installations and from -5°C to +70°C during occasional movement. The minimum bending radius is 42 mm for fixed installations and 140 mm for non-guided moving applications.
The Eca fire reaction class and flame retardancy according to IEC 60332-1-2 ensure operational safety. The cable is suitable for medium mechanical loads and can be used in both dry and damp environments.
