Applications and user parameters
The ETHERLINE FD P FC CAT5 cable is used in a wide range of applications, from cabling machines and devices, through industrial automation systems, to Ethernet networks in harsh environmental conditions. Thanks to its properties, it is also ideal for PROFINET type C applications and EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP networks. The minimum bending radius of 52 mm ensures easy installation even in tight spaces. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 6.5 mm, and its wave impedance is 100 Ω ± 15%.

ETHERLINE FD P FC CAT5 cable is a solid solution for building reliable Ethernet networks in industrial and other environments. Designed to operate in harsh conditions, it provides stable data transmission even with frequent bending and exposure to interference. Ideal for use in chain guides, industrial automation and anywhere high mechanical and electromagnetic resistance is required.
Construction and properties
The cable features double shielding – aluminum foil with copper braid – which effectively protects the signal from external interference. Made of tinned copper, it has class 2 wires (stranded), which ensures flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) guarantees high resistance to abrasion, mineral oils and weathering. The construction based on twisted pairs in a quad configuration minimizes the risk of interference between wire pairs.
