Constant Current Power Supply with DIP Switch Regulation

This is a linear power supply designed for constant-current operation of LED modules in indoor installations. It does not support dimming—no 0–10 V, DALI, PWM, or any other control protocols. Its main advantage is precise manual adjustment of the output current via DIP switches, allowing selection of one of 16 values in 25 mA steps—from 200 mA to 625 mA. This means the same model can be used across different luminaires without replacing the power supply.

Why It Performs Well in Practice

It features low current ripple—below 5%—resulting in stable, flicker-free lighting. This is critical not only for visual comfort but also for long-term LED stability. The metal housing ensures effective heat dissipation, while built-in thermal and short-circuit protection activate automatically: if temperature rises excessively or a short circuit occurs, the supply shuts down and restarts automatically after cooling. No replacement is needed after failure—it operates as a “closed system” that simply waits for normal conditions to resume.

It is certified for use in emergency lighting systems (compliant with IEC 61347-2-13, Annex J), making it suitable not only for offices or warehouses but also for evacuation corridors and public spaces. It operates on 220–240 V AC and requires no additional transformers—direct connection to the mains is sufficient.

Where It’s Ideal and What to Consider

Perfect for linear lighting fixtures: offices, schools, production halls, retail stores, and warehouses. Requires luminaires with Class I protection—i.e., those with grounding. Not suitable for SELV (Safety Extra-Low Voltage) installations; do not use where the housing lacks grounding.

Geometrical design complies with Zhaga specifications, meaning it fits standard mounting holes and rails used by luminaire manufacturers. Dimensions: 211 × 31 × 22 mm—compact, but not as small as SMD modules; adequate space must be available in the housing.

Lifetime exceeds 100 000 hours at 25 °C—this is not marketing. It is based on L90/B10 testing: after this time, at least 90% of units will still operate with at least 70% of initial luminous flux. A 5-year warranty confirms this level of build quality.

It has an IP20 rating—this is not an issue in dry indoor environments. This is not an outdoor or wet-location power supply. If the installation is dry and controlled, it is an ideal choice.
