Analog daily timer 3-module QT31, quartz drive 412813
Precise analog timer for home and industrial automation
The MicroRex QT31 analog timer provides reliable daily programming with a quartz drive, guaranteeing high operational precision in a compact 3-module housing mounted on a DIN rail.
Design and technical parameters
The compact housing with dimensions of 52,5 × 83 × 60 mm contains the time control mechanics. The quartz drive ensures an accuracy of ±2.5 seconds per day, which translates to stable operation without setting drift over time.
The device is powered by 230V AC (50-60Hz) and is equipped with a potential-free changeover contact, allowing for the control of circuits with different electrical potentials. The maximum switching current is 16A at 250V AC, allowing for the safe control of high-power receivers.
The design accounts for long-term operation thanks to an autonomy of 100 hours - even in the event of a power outage, the device maintains full functionality for over four days.
Programming functionality and operation
The timer offers daily programming with the possibility of setting up to 96 switching points per day (every 15 minutes). The control dial enables precise configuration of operating schedules for lighting, heating, or other electrical receivers.
The manual override mechanism allows for immediate switching between ON/AUTO/OFF modes, which is particularly useful during maintenance or automatic system failures. The advance switching preset function allows for programming schedule changes in advance.
Control is carried out via a single output channel with a "change-over" contact, which can perform both switching on and switching off functions for receivers according to the established schedule.
Applications and installation compatibility
The timer is used in lighting, heating, and building automation systems. The IP20 protection rating ensures safe operation inside electrical distribution boards.
Mounting on a standard DIN rail allows for easy integration with existing distribution board installations, and compatibility with wires with a cross-section of 1,5-4 mm² guarantees universal connections. The device operates in temperatures from -10°C to +55°C, allowing for installation in various environmental conditions.
The potential-free contact output eliminates potential compatibility problems between the controlled circuit and the control systems, making the timer an ideal solution for applications requiring galvanic isolation of circuits.
