Distribution board doors – reliable protection and functionality

Insulating doors for EKINOXE distribution boards, in white color, are designed for mounting in RNN 1x8 enclosures. They are an integral part of the Legrand distribution system, providing safe access to the electrical installation and an aesthetic appearance. Made of high-quality plastic, they guarantee durability and resistance to mechanical damage.

Construction and operating parameters

The doors are characterized by dimensions of 187 mm width, 178 mm height and 27 mm depth. The IP40 protection class provides basic protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm. The material used – plastic – affects the lightweight construction and ease of installation. The lack of a glazed door version or a disconnecting switch handle means that these doors are dedicated to standard applications inside buildings. They meet the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), although they are not compliant with it – which means they have not been specifically tested for interference emissions.
