Electrical installation protection with S 300 series circuit breakers
S 300 and S 310 TX³ series circuit breakers are reliable devices designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of short circuits and overloads. Thanks to their well-thought-out design, these devices provide not only safety but also convenient installation and operation. They are particularly appreciated by installers for the ease of connecting wires thanks to the bottom latch and terminal shields.
Functionality and parameters
The S 302 2P B 63A circuit breaker is a two-pole device designed to operate in circuits with a rated voltage of 400 V AC. Characteristic B ensures a quick response to current increase, protecting against overloads, while allowing for short-term current surges that may occur during the starting of motors or other devices with high power consumption. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 6 kA at 400 V and as much as 10 kA at 230 V, which guarantees effective protection in the event of a failure. Mounting is done on a standard TH35 rail, and the device width is only 2 modules – allowing you to save space in the switchgear cabinet.
Application and compatibility
TX³ series circuit breakers are compatible with a wide range of auxiliary accessories, such as auxiliary and signaling contacts, undervoltage releases, and remote drives. This allows you to adapt the operation of the circuit breaker to the specific requirements of a given installation. These devices are used in residential, commercial and industrial buildings – wherever reliable protection against overloads and short circuits is required. Energy limitation class 3 provides adequate protection in the event of an electric arc. Protection class IP20 protects against touching with fingers and solid objects with a diameter greater than 12mm.
