Overcurrent circuit breaker S 303 3P B 50A is a reliable protection for electrical installations against the effects of overloads and short circuits. Construction and mounting

The circuit breaker is designed for easy mounting on a TH35 rail. The lower latch and terminal covers significantly facilitate the connection of wires, saving installers time. Compact dimensions (width 3 modules, embedding depth 44 mm) allow for optimal use of space in the switchgear cabinet. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against touch and ingress of solid objects.

Characteristics and application

The B tripping characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to an increase in short-circuit current, but is more tolerant of short-term current surges, e.g. when starting electric motors. This makes it ideal for protecting circuits with receivers with high starting currents. The ability to cooperate with various auxiliary equipment – auxiliary and signaling contacts, undervoltage releases or remote drives – increases the functionality and flexibility of the protection system.
