Design and product features

The S 304 circuit breaker from the TX³ series features a bottom latch and terminal covers, which significantly facilitate and speed up the installation and connection of wires. Designed for mounting on a TH35 rail, it offers a width of 4 modules. Its compact dimensions (70.8 mm wide, 88 mm high and 77.8 mm deep) allow for installation even in limited spaces. Made of high-quality materials, in RAL 7035 grey color, it provides an aesthetic appearance and durability. Additionally, the ability to cooperate with various auxiliary equipment – auxiliary and signaling contacts, undervoltage and overvoltage release devices or remote drives – expands its functionality and allows it to be adapted to individual needs.

The S 304 4P C 4A circuit breaker is designed to operate in circuits with a rated voltage of 400 V AC (voltage range 240-415 V) and a frequency of 50-60 Hz. It has a C characteristic, which means it reacts more slowly to short-term current surges – an ideal solution for circuits with devices with a high starting current (e.g. motors). The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 6 kA at 400 V and 10 kA at 230 V, which ensures effective protection against the effects of short circuits. The energy limitation class is 3, and the degree of protection IP20 guarantees basic protection against contact. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500 V and the rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is as much as 4 kV. The circuit breaker also has a disconnectable N pole and the possibility of flush mounting.
