This 4-pole modular contactor with an actuator, with a rated current of 40A and a voltage of 230V, is a reliable solution for controlling lighting circuits, heating, pumps and other energy-consuming devices. Its compact design (3 modules wide) makes it easy to install in electrical panels. A slider for manual operation allows for quick and convenient switching of the circuit on/off without the need to use the control system.

Functionality and application

The SM 340 contactor is designed to operate with AC voltage in both the control (195-253V) and working (400V) circuits. It has four normally open contacts (4NO), which provides flexibility in circuit configuration. Thanks to its high switching capacity – up to 5000W for incandescent bulbs and 3100 VA for fluorescent lamps – it can be used in home and commercial installations. Additional DUO compensation possibility increases the maximum switching capacity for fluorescent lamps to 3400 VA.
