Flush-mounted distribution box – a practical solution for installers and users

This PRACIBOX3 flush-mounted distribution box from Legrand is designed for wall mounting. It provides an aesthetic look for the electrical installation by concealing the distribution elements. It is ideal for both new installations and the modernization of existing ones. A capacity of 18 modules allows for comfortable placement of protective devices and control units.

Construction and mounting

The housing made of plastic (with dimensions of 493 x 288 x 105 mm) is durable and resistant to mechanical damage. Flush mounting requires preparing an appropriate opening in the wall, and the installation depth is 85 mm. The lack of a mounting plate simplifies the installation process, giving greater freedom in arranging the interior of the housing. The DIN rail inside the distribution box allows for easy mounting of modular devices. Earth and neutral conductor terminal blocks ensure safe and organized connections.

Functionality and safety

The white color (RAL 9003) of the distribution box makes it blend well with various interior designs. The door locked with a cylinder increases security, preventing unauthorized access to the inside of the distribution box. The IP40 degree of protection guarantees protection against touching foreign objects with a diameter of more than 1 mm and against electric shock. The signal-passing door facilitates reading the indications of measuring devices without having to open them. The possibility of expansion allows the distribution box to be adapted to the changing needs of the user. The closed construction provides additional protection for the internal components.
