Rotary extension cord – functionality and modern design

The Helmo extension cord is a practical solution for powering electrical devices in any home, workshop or office. Equipped with five grounded sockets (2P+Z), it allows you to connect multiple energy consumers simultaneously. The 180-degree rotating body increases comfort and facilitates access to the sockets, and the 1.5-meter power cord provides freedom of arrangement.

Construction and application

Made of durable thermoplastic material, the extension cord features a matte black-graphite (RAL 9017) finish, giving it a modern look. The possibility of mounting with screws or cable ties (not included) allows for stable mounting of the extension cord in a chosen location. The 1 mm² cross-section and 1.5-meter long cord is adapted to work in a temperature range from -5°C to 35°C. A built-in switch in the housing allows for safe power disconnection.

Safety and parameters

The extension cord is designed to operate at 230V and a maximum load of 3680W, with a rated current of 16A. It meets the IP20 standard, which means protection against touching with fingers and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. Additionally, it is made of halogen-free materials, which increases safety and minimizes the risk of toxic gases in the event of a fire. Flat sockets (4 at a 45° angle and one at a 90° angle) allow for convenient connection of even large power supplies without blocking adjacent sockets.
