This rotary extension cord from HELMO is a combination of functionality, safety and thoughtful design. It has been designed for a wide range of applications – both at home, in the workshop and on construction sites. Equipped with six 2P+Z sockets, a switch and a surge protector, it is a reliable power source for various devices.

Construction and functionality

The extension cord is characterized by a solid construction made of thermoplastic, providing durability and resistance to mechanical damage (IK04 class). The 180° rotating body facilitates access to the sockets and allows for optimal adaptation to the space. This makes connecting devices comfortable, even in tight spaces. In addition, two sockets have been moved away from the others, allowing for the free connection of larger power supplies without blocking adjacent sockets. The built-in illuminated switch provides convenient control of the power supply. The 1.5 meter long cable with a cross-section of 1 mm² guarantees safe and efficient energy transmission.

Safety first

A key element of this extension cord is the built-in surge protector, which protects connected devices from the effects of sudden voltage increases – e.g. during a thunderstorm. An LED indicates the protection status – green means correct operation, no light indicates the need to replace the extension cord. The halogen-free materials increase safety in the event of a fire. The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against accidental contact and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The rated current of 16A allows for the safe power supply of most household appliances and power tools.
