Its task is to protect users from electric shock and to protect against the effects of short circuits and overloads. This device, manufactured by Legrand, meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

This four-pole RCD (4P) with a rated current of 25A and a sensitivity of 30mA is designed to work with AC (alternating current) and pulsating DC circuits. Thanks to this, it effectively reacts to irregularities in the flow of current, minimizing the risk of hazards. The use of type A means that the RCD detects both sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating direct currents, which increases the scope of protection.

The installation of the P304 TX3 RCD is simple and intuitive – the device is designed for mounting on a DIN rail with a standard width of 35mm. The lower latch and terminal covers facilitate the connection of wires with a cross-section from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm² (multi-strand) or 0.75 mm² to 50 mm² (solid). The RCD has a lock that prevents accidental switching on after switching off due to the operation of the residual current device. The ability to cooperate with additional auxiliary devices (auxiliary contacts, signaling devices) expands the functionality of the system.

The degree of protection IP20 provides protection against finger contact, but does not protect against the action of water. The width of the device is 4 modules (71.2 mm).
