Residual current circuit breaker P304 4P 63A 30mA TYPE AC TX3 411709
Residual Current Device (RCD) P304 4P 63A 30mA type AC from the TX³ series is a reliable protection for electrical installations, protecting users from electric shock and the installation from the effects of short circuits and overloads. The device is designed to work with circuits with a rated voltage of 400V and a rated current of 63A. Its construction, based on proven technology, ensures high efficiency and long-term reliability.
Functionality and application
The P304 RCD, with a differential current sensitivity of 30mA, effectively detects leakage currents to earth, minimizing the risk of electric shock. Type AC means that the RCD reacts to sinusoidal alternating currents, making it suitable for protecting most standard electrical circuits in residential and commercial buildings. The four-pole design allows for the protection of entire three-phase circuits. Additionally, a locking mechanism prevents accidental switching on of the RCD after it has been switched off by the protection device.
Construction and mounting
The RCD is designed for easy mounting on a DIN rail. Compact dimensions (width of 4 modules) allow for efficient use of space in the distribution board. Made of high-quality materials, it is resistant to mechanical damage and the influence of environmental conditions (operating temperature from -25°C to 60°C). The ability to connect wires with a cross-section from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm² (multi-strand) and from 0.75 mm² to 50 mm² (solid) provides flexibility in choosing the supply wires. Equipped with a test button to allow regular verification of its correct operation – crucial for ensuring continuous protection.
Parameters and safety
The device is characterized by a high short-circuit strength (10 kA), which guarantees its resistance to sudden current surges during short circuits in the installation. The rated impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV provides protection against overvoltages. The degree of protection IP20 indicates protection against touching with a finger and solid objects larger than 12.5 mm – standard for devices mounted inside electrical distribution boards. Compliance with IEC/EN 61008-1 standards confirms compliance with strict safety and quality requirements.
