This two-pole residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection from Legrand's DX³ series combines protection against electric shock and overload. The P312 circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 16A and a residual current of 30mA, providing effective protection for people against electric shock. Characteristic C makes it ideal for circuits with devices generating short-term overloads, such as motors or transformers – it reacts more slowly to short current surges, therefore it tolerates starting devices with a motor well. The breaking capacity at 6kA guarantees safe disconnection of the circuit in the event of a short circuit.
