Vandal-resistant ceiling light Camea, E27 75W, IP44, prismatic polycarbonate diffuser, white ring 140235
Impact‑resistant luminaire for ceiling and wall mounting
The luminaire is designed for use in areas exposed to mechanical damage – such as corridors, bathrooms, toilets, or technical rooms. The prism polycarbonate diffuser distributes light evenly, and its transparent structure minimizes light loss. The white housing ring connects to the diffuser in a simplified way, without the need for additional fastening elements.
Installation is straightforward – it can be mounted directly to the substrate with expansion anchors. It does not require embedding or suspension, making it ideal for retro‑fitting existing buildings where ceiling structure modification is not possible. It is also one of the few fixtures in this class that meets IP44 – protection against water splashes, allowing safe use in humid environments.
For the installer – simplicity and durability
The fixture does not contain an integrated light source – it requires a bulb or compact fluorescent lamp with an E27 base, up to 75 W. This provides flexibility: energy‑saving LEDs or traditional halogen lamps can be chosen according to the project’s needs. The absence of a dimming system (0‑10 V, 0-10, DALI, PWM, etc.) means no extra wiring complexity – it operates directly on 220–240 V AC.
The polycarbonate diffuser is impact‑rated (IK10), and the plastic housing is non‑corrosive and resistant to moisture degradation. There are no sensors – neither motion nor light – eliminating potential faults and the need for maintenance.
Application: where durability matters
This is not an aesthetic fixture for a living room. It is a tool for public and functional spaces – where reliable lighting must endure for many years, even after accidental impacts or intensive cleaning. Examples: a bathroom in a children’s home, a hospital corridor, a toilet in a kindergarten. Anywhere a standard luminaire would fail after a few months.
