The BKH 3P C100A circuit breaker is characterized by a C characteristic, which means it is ideal for circuits with devices generating inrush currents during start-up – e.g., motors, pumps or transformers. Thanks to this, it does not switch off unnecessarily during short-term current surges, but reacts quickly in the event of an overload or short circuit. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 10kA guarantees safety in the event of serious failures. This circuit breaker is used to protect lighting circuits, socket outlets and electrical devices requiring protection against overload.

Construction and product features

The circuit breaker is made of high-quality materials, which ensures its durability and reliability. It has three poles, allowing it to protect the entire three-phase circuit. The width of the circuit breaker is 4.5 modules (81mm), which facilitates its installation in standard distribution boards. Compliance with IEC 60898 and IEC 60947-2 standards confirms its safety and quality of workmanship. The circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against accidental contact and solid objects larger than 12mm – typical for installations inside buildings.
