Overcurrent circuit breaker, 6kA BKJ63Nd series 2P 13A characteristic B BKJ63Nd 2P B13 BKJ63ND 2P B13
Overcurrent circuit breaker BKJ63Nd 2P B13 is a reliable safety element for electrical installations, designed for both home and commercial use. This two-pole circuit breaker with a rated current of 13A and B characteristic provides effective protection against overloads and short circuits.
Installation and safety
BKJ63Nd series circuit breakers, including this model, are manufactured by LS Electric and meet the requirements of IEC 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards. They provide comprehensive protection for electrical circuits, minimizing the risk of damage to equipment and fires. The B characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to an increase in short-circuit current, but is more tolerant to short-term overloads, which is particularly important for devices with electric motors or other pulse loads. The short-circuit current that the circuit breaker can withstand is 6kA.
Mounting and application
The circuit breaker is mounted on a standard 35mm DIN rail, which simplifies and speeds up installation. Compact dimensions (17.8mm wide per pole) allow for efficient use of space in the distribution board. The circuit breaker is designed to work with wires with a cross-section of up to 25mm², which provides flexibility in choosing the appropriate cables. It can be used in circuits with a rated voltage of 240/415V AC (depending on the pole configuration).
Design features and durability
BKJ63Nd circuit breakers are characterized by high mechanical durability (20,000 cycles) and electrical durability (10,000 cycles), which guarantees long-term and trouble-free operation. The housing made of high-quality materials provides resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The IP20 protection degree protects against finger contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. Thanks to this, the circuit breaker can operate in a wide temperature range – from -5°C to +40°C.
