Overcurrent circuit breaker BKJ63Nd is an element used to protect electrical installations against overloads and short circuits. Model 3P with a rated current of 13A and C characteristic, is perfect for both domestic and industrial installations. Its task is to quickly disconnect the circuit in the event of a dangerous current increase, minimizing the risk of damage to equipment and fire.
Characteristics and application
BKJ63Nd series circuit breakers are characterized by high reliability and durability. The C characteristic means that the breaker reacts to overload currents in the range of 5 to 10 times the rated current, making it ideal for protecting circuits with receivers generating high inrush currents – such as electric motors or transformers. The three-pole design (3P) allows protecting three phases in one device, which is particularly important in three-phase installations.
Construction and mounting
The BKJ63Nd circuit breaker is mounted on a standard 35mm DIN rail, which facilitates its installation and replacement. It has screw terminals or lugs (depending on the version), allowing connection of wires with a cross-section of up to 25mm². Compact dimensions (17.8mm per pole) allow for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. The circuit breaker is designed to operate at temperatures from -5°C to +40°C, ensuring its reliability in various environmental conditions.
