This circuit breaker is the successor to the popular BKN series, introducing improvements in construction – primarily separate terminals for wires and the busbar. This provides more convenient installation and greater flexibility of connections. Functionality and technical parameters

The BKJ63Nd circuit breaker is characterized by high efficiency in emergency situations. The C characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts with a delay to short-term current surges, which is particularly important when connecting devices with motors or other elements generating high starting currents. This avoids unnecessary tripping of the circuit during normal operation of the devices. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity is 6kA, which guarantees safe disconnection of the circuit in the event of a serious failure.

This circuit breaker has a rated current of 16A and is intended for protecting three-phase electrical circuits (number of poles: 3P). Its C characteristic provides optimal protection against overloads and short circuits while taking into account starting currents. It can be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures (-5°C to +40°C) and mounted on a 35mm DIN rail, which facilitates integration with existing installations.
