The BKJ63Nd overcurrent circuit breaker is a protective element for electrical installations against the effects of overloads and short circuits. The BKJ63Nd 4P 16A model with D characteristic provides effective protection in demanding applications where high inrush currents occur, e.g., when switching on motors or transformers. It is a four-pole circuit breaker, which means it protects all phase and neutral conductors.
Characteristics and application
BKJ63Nd circuit breakers are characterized by high reliability and long mechanical (20,000 cycles) and electrical (10,000 cycles) life. They are designed for mounting on a 35mm DIN rail, which facilitates their installation and replacement. The D characteristic ensures delayed tripping in the event of short-term overloads, which minimizes the risk of unnecessary circuit tripping. This is particularly important for devices generating high starting currents.

BKJ63Nd circuit breakers have been designed and manufactured in accordance with IEC 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards, which confirms their safety and compliance with applicable regulations. The housing made of high-quality materials provides resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The ambient operating temperature is from -5°C to +40°C. The circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.
