The BKN 2P C40A overcurrent circuit breaker is a reliable safety element for electrical circuits in residential and commercial buildings. Design and operating parameters

The BKN 2P C40A circuit breaker is designed to operate in installations with a voltage of 230/400V AC. The two-pole design allows simultaneous disconnection of two phases, increasing safety in the event of a failure. The rated current of 40A allows protection of circuits with medium power consumption. The short-circuit breaking capacity at 6kA guarantees effective interruption of current flow in the event of a short circuit, minimizing the risk of damage to the installation and fire. The housing with a protection degree of IP20 protects against contact and ensures safe use.

Installation and application

The BKN 2P C40A circuit breaker is designed for mounting on a standard DIN rail, which facilitates its installation and replacement. The ability to connect wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² provides flexibility in selecting appropriate cables. The circuit breaker is used to protect lighting circuits, socket outlets and electrical devices with moderate power consumption. A visual indicator of contact position makes it easy to quickly identify the status of the circuit breaker – whether it is on or off. Operation at a temperature of -5°C to 40°C allows its use in various environmental conditions.
