Characteristics and Application

The BKJ63Nd circuit breaker with characteristic B is particularly recommended for protecting circuits with resistive-inductive characteristics, such as lighting or sockets. Characteristic B means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to short-circuit currents, but is more resistant to short-term current surges during device start-up. This ensures stable operation of the installation and minimizes the risk of unnecessary circuit tripping. Suitable for operation in temperatures from -5°C to +40°C.

This circuit breaker has a short-circuit breaking capacity of up to 6kA at 240/415VAC, which guarantees safety in the event of serious disturbances in the network. Available in a single-pole (1P) version with a rated current of 1A. The possibility of using additional accessories such as AX, AL, SHT, OVT, UVT increases the functionality of the device.

Construction and Mounting
