PLC controller LS Electric XEC-DR32H/D1
LS Electric XEC-DR32H/D1 PLC controller is a compact device that forms the heart of many automation systems. Designed for reliability and efficiency, this controller combines control, monitoring, and communication functions, offering a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users.
Functionality and capabilities
This model features 16 digital inputs and 16 relay outputs, allowing for direct control of various devices and processes. The built-in 16 PID blocks enable precise parameter regulation in applications requiring stable control, e.g., in heating or cooling systems. Additionally, 8 high-speed counters (HSC) allow for efficient pulse counting in applications related to speed or position measurements. The controller also has a real-time clock (RTC) that enables the execution of time-dependent tasks.
Communication and expansion
XEC-DR32H/D1 offers wide communication possibilities, including RS-232 and RS-485 ports for serial communication. The USB port is used for programming and data transfer. The ability to connect up to 10 optional modules allows you to expand the system with additional functions and interfaces, adapting it to the specific needs of the application. Although this model does not have built-in Ethernet or an SD port, its flexibility allows integration with other systems through the available communication interfaces.
Construction and operating parameters
The controller is powered by a 12-24 V DC voltage, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of power sources. Made of high-quality components, it ensures reliable operation even in harsh industrial conditions. The scan speed of 83 ns/step guarantees a quick response to changes in input signals and precise control of outputs. Program memory with a capacity of 200 kB allows for the implementation of complex control algorithms. It is worth noting the possibility of configuring digital inputs as NPN or PNP type – this increases the flexibility of the device when integrating with various sensors and external devices.
The use of relays as outputs provides galvanic isolation between the controller and the load, which increases system safety and protects against damage caused by overvoltages or interference. Built-in self-diagnosis functions allow for quick detection of potential failures and minimize system downtime.
