Construction and configuration possibilities
The iS7 drive stands out for its versatility, allowing constant and variable torque control. The standard equipment includes 8 digital inputs, current and voltage analog inputs, as well as analog and multi-function outputs. The built-in RS485 interface with Modbus RTU protocol ensures easy integration with control systems. Additionally, the functionality can be expanded through numerous expansion cards – PLC, encoder, additional inputs/outputs and communication (Profibus-DP, Ethernet, LonWorks and others). It is worth noting that the control panel is not part of the standard equipment and is available as a separate accessory.
Safety and protection
The drive design has been enriched with a number of elements ensuring safe operation and protection against interference. The built-in EMC filter class C (up to 22kW) minimizes electromagnetic interference emissions, and the choke in the DC circuit reduces harmonics improving the power factor. Oversized power modules (IGBT) and capacitors guarantee resistance to high overloads (150% In for 60 seconds, 200% In for 3 seconds). The integrated braking module (up to 22kW) increases the safety of the system. Double-coated printed circuit boards ensure stable operation even in harsh environmental conditions.
