The LS ELECTRIC S100 series inverter with a power of 45kW is an advanced solution for controlling electric motors in industrial applications. Powered by 3x400V AC, the device ensures stable operation under loads ranging from HD (Heavy Duty) to ND (Normal Duty), adapting to diverse installation requirements.

Technical parameters and operating capabilities

Model LSLV0450S100-4COFDS offers a wide supply voltage range of 380~480 VAC with a frequency of 50~60 Hz. In HD mode, it provides an output power of 45kW at 91A, while in ND mode, it reaches 55kW at 107A. The output voltage ranges from 380~480 VAC, and the output frequency is adjustable within the 0~400 Hz range.

The device is characterized by high overload resistance - HD mode allows for 150% load for one minute, while ND mode allows for 120% load for one minute. The short-term starting torque reaches a value of 200%/0.5Hz, enabling the efficient startup of even heavy drives.

Advanced control and safety functions

The inverter is equipped with modern control methods including V/F control, slip compensation, and sensorless vector control (Sensorless Vector) with support for synchronous motors (PM sensorless). Built-in PLC functions allow for programming simple automatic sequences without the need for an external controller.

Operational safety is ensured by the Safe Torque Off (STO) relay and a redundant input circuit. The device features extensive input terminals (7 points) and output terminals (2 relay points, 1 Open Collector point), allowing for flexible integration with automation systems.

The IP20 rated enclosure is designed for indoor mounting with side-by-side installation capability, allowing for efficient use of control cabinet space. The device dimensions are 325 x 510 x 284 mm, and the weight has been optimized for easy installation.

The inverter operates in temperatures from -10°C to +50°C (HD mode) or up to +40°C (ND mode), with a relative humidity of up to 95% RH. It can be installed at altitudes up to 1000m above sea level, with automatic derating above this level.

Standardly, the inverter is equipped with Modbus RTU/RS485 and LS INV 485 communication. Optionally, PROFInet, Modbus TCP, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Profibus-DP, and CANopen protocols are available via expansion cards. A built-in category C3 EMC filter and DC Reactor eliminate electromagnetic interference.

The device complies with international KC, CE, UL, and cUL standards, possessing a rated short-circuit strength of 100kA according to IEC 60439-1.
