Working in difficult industrial conditions requires a tool that not only handles heavy loads but also allows for free maneuvering in tight spaces. The DRV150RFJ cordless riveter is designed for professionals who value performance and ergonomics. Thanks to the brushless DC (BLDC) motor, the tool offers a long service life while maintaining compact dimensions. A pulling force of 10 kN (10 000 N) and a working stroke of 25 mm enable the device to easily handle steel rivets with diameters ranging from 2.4 mm to 4.8 mm. This is crucial when assembling metal structures, where secure and durable connections are required.

Ergonomics and functionality in every detail

The device weighs only 1.9 to 2.2 kg (depending on the installed battery), significantly reducing operator fatigue during hours of work. The design has been refined to facilitate installation even in hard-to-reach places. Note the rivet-holding mechanism, which prevents the element from falling out even when the worker operates the tool pointing downwards. Additionally, the transparent container for used mandrels allows for quick monitoring of wear and efficient waste disposal. Illumination of the working area via an LED eliminates visibility issues in shadows or under poor natural lighting.

The XPT (X-Protect Technology) system increases the device's resistance to dust and moisture, which is invaluable on construction sites or in production halls. The use of LXT 18 V batteries ensures compatibility with a wide range of other Makita tools. The set includes two 3.0 Ah batteries and a fast charger DC18RC. Assuming average energy consumption, one battery set allows for the installation of up to 2300 steel rivets with a diameter of 4.8 mm (using a 5 Ah battery; for the included 3 Ah batteries, this number is proportionally lower, which still ensures efficient work without frequent downtime).

Safety and complete transport set

Safety of use is a priority – the built-in battery protection system automatically cuts off power when the charge level is low, protecting the cells from damage and extending their lifespan. The vibration emission level does not exceed 2.5 m/s² (with an uncertainty factor of 1.5 m/s²), and the sound pressure level is approximately 75 dB(A), making the work comfortable for the operator's hearing. The entire unit is packed in a durable MAKPAC system case with a dedicated molded insert for the tool and accessories. The set also includes a belt clip and molybdenum disulfide grease for maintaining the head mechanism.

The device does not require specialized service knowledge thanks to the maintenance-free BLDC motor. Various charging options are available – from standard to fast dual-port chargers – allowing the process to be adapted to the team's work pace. However, please note that the tool is not compatible with older G-series batteries (without electronics), so it is important to ensure power system compatibility at the stage of purchasing additional equipment. Thanks to this solution, installers gain the mobility and power of traditional pneumatic or hydraulic riveters, without the need to connect cables or compressed air hoses.
