Power and precision in a cordless form
A cordless circular saw with a 190 mm blade diameter, powered by the 40V MAX XGT system, is a device designed for cutting construction materials while maintaining full mobility. Thanks to the use of a brushless motor (BLDC) and AWS (Anti-Vibration System) technology, the tool offers high efficiency while simultaneously reducing vibrations, which is crucial during prolonged work. The design allows for cutting at an angle of up to 48°, expanding mounting possibilities without the need for additional jigs.
Application and key design features
The tool is ideal for processing wood, chipboard, or metal profiles where cutting precision is required. Its main advantage is a cutting depth of 62.5 mm at a 90° angle, allowing for the processing of thick elements in a single pass. At a 45° bevel, this depth is 44.5 mm, and at a maximum tilt of 48° – 42 mm. The 190 mm diameter blade with a 30 mm mounting hole is standard in this class of devices, ensuring stability during operation.
The device weight in the EPTA version ranges from 4.4 to 4.7 kg, making it one of the lighter solutions in its category while maintaining high power. The total length of the tool is just 337 mm, which facilitates maneuvering in hard-to-reach places and reduces operator fatigue. The set includes an "EFFICUT" cutting blade (190x30 mm; 24Z), which has been selected to ensure clean cutting edges right from the start.
Equipment and safety systems
The manufacturer has ensured a complete set necessary to start work immediately. Inside the standard MAKPAC system case, you will find:
- Parallel guide – facilitating straight and precise longitudinal cuts.
- Dust extraction port – allowing for the connection of a construction vacuum cleaner to keep the workspace clean.
- AWS Module – a dedicated system that connects with MAKITA vacuum cleaners, automatically starting dust extraction once cutting begins.
- 6 mm hex key – essential for changing the blade or adjusting the head.
The device is supplied as a bare tool (body only), which means it requires the connection of XGT series batteries and a charger to operate. This solution allows users to flexibly manage their machine fleet and utilize existing batteries from this system.
