This is an optimal solution for users who already own the MAKITA LXT 18 V battery system. The device is compatible with most Li-ion batteries in this series but does not support older models without electronics (BL1811G/BL1813G/BL1815G series) nor the lightest battery BL1815 (18 V / 1.3 Ah), due to the BLDC motor controller's requirement for proper battery communication for correct operation and overload protection.
