The DBO380RTJ oscillating sander is a tool designed for finishing work, where surface smoothness and lack of vibration are crucial. Thanks to the brushless motor (BLDC) and the XPT system, the device offers performance comparable to corded versions, but with full mobility. Powered by the 18V LXT system, it allows for smooth operation even under heavy loads. The set includes two 5.0 Ah batteries and a fast charger, minimizing downtime.

Working comfort and material control

The most important advantage of this model is the ability to precisely adjust the speed to the type of material being processed. The user has three speed levels available: from 6 000 to 10 000 opm (corresponding to 12 000 – 20 000 spm). This range allows for delicate sanding of varnishes or fillers without the risk of damage, as well as faster removal of larger irregularities on wood.

The oscillating motion with a diameter of only 2.0 mm guarantees a very fine surface finish, which is ideal for painting or varnishing without the risk of scratches. The tool uses 1/3 sheet sandpaper (93 x 228 mm), which is mounted on a plate measuring 93 x 185 mm using a clamping system – paper replacement is instantaneous and tool-free. The large grip surface and low vibration make the tool comfortable to use for extended periods, which is particularly important for professionals working on construction sites or in carpentry workshops.

Efficiency and work organization

In the case of sanding, it is crucial not only to achieve a smooth surface but also to maintain cleanliness around the work area. The sander is equipped with an efficient dust extraction system that can be connected to an industrial vacuum cleaner or utilize a built-in dust container. This keeps the workspace clean and prevents flying dust from obscuring the cutting line.

The brushless motor (BLDC) not only increases the device's lifespan and torque but also reduces battery energy consumption – this is significant when working in the field without access to power. The XPT system protects the mechanism against dust and moisture, resulting in lower failure rates during intensive construction work. The entire unit is packed in a durable MakPac case, which protects the tool and accessories during transport between sites. Two 5.0 Ah batteries along with a fast charger allow for continuous work – simply switch the power source when one battery is depleted.

This tool is suitable for both preparing raw wood for painting and for delicate sanding of finished furniture elements or joinery. The weight of the device with the battery is approximately 2.4 kg, making it light enough for overhead work or on vertical surfaces without excessive operator hand fatigue.
