Surface-mounted photocell with signal and range adjustment

This compact device is designed to secure driveways, gates, windows and other access points. The photocell uses infrared to create a protective barrier – when this barrier is broken, an alarm signal or mechanical lock is triggered. Its surface-mounted design makes it easy to install on various surfaces.

Application and functionality

The photocell works well in both home and commercial installations. Thanks to the adjustable head (rotation up to 180 degrees), the detection range and direction can be precisely adjusted, eliminating false alarms caused by, for example, animals or vegetation. The built-in LED signal lamp in both parts (transmitter and receiver) facilitates visual control of the device's status and confirms the correct operation of the system. Additionally, the lamp interruptor allows you to turn off the signaling when it is not required.

Construction and mounting

The device is powered by 12V-24VAC/DC, which ensures compatibility with most gate automation and alarm systems. The NO/NC relay output allows flexible connection to various controllers and alarm panels. The yellow housing increases the visibility of the photocell, and the compact dimensions (50x128x28 mm) allow for discreet mounting. Protection class IP54 guarantees resistance to weather conditions, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors. The operating range of the device is 12 meters – this is sufficient for most residential and commercial applications.
