When choosing a signal light, you should pay attention to the key parameters of a given model, such as: • power supply (24V AC/DC or 230V AC); • mounting method (usually on a fence post or other flat surface or on the side of a post using a special side mounting bracket); • type of light source (e.g. LED technology); • light intensity and color; • operating temperature range; • IP protection class (refers to the resistance of the fixture to water and dust); • appearance (becoming an increasingly important selection criterion). These parameters primarily affect the functionality, durability and reliability of the signal light - even in difficult environmental conditions. The signal light interrupter is also important. It is often built-in, but can also be purchased separately. An independent interrupter is used to control the signal light when the controller and the light do not have a built-in interrupter or there is no compatibility in the voltage range.
