24V LED strip, designed for indoor and outdoor applications
The NEXTEC EX LED strip is a solution built with 2216 SMD diodes – 288 per meter – providing a dense, uniform light emission without gaps. A power of 12W per meter and a luminous efficacy of 110 lm/W allow for a luminous flux of approximately 1320 lm per meter, without wasted energy. The light with a color temperature of 4000K ±200K is neutral white, neither cold nor warm – ideal where natural color presentation is important.
A color rendering index RA >90 ensures that walls, furniture, or products in a shop appear realistic – not exaggerated, not distorted. This is not just aesthetics, but a function: in retail spaces, kitchens, or living rooms, it allows for better assessment of colors and details.
Resistance and durability – for installations requiring reliability
IP67 protection means full protection against dust and water jets – the strip can be installed under eaves, in garages, on terraces, or in bathrooms. It does not require additional housings or channels. It operates in a temperature range from -20°C to 60°C – it does not lose brightness in the cold nor overheat during long-term use.
A lifespan rated at 50 000 hours is the result of a stable construction and good thermal regulation of the diodes. Cutting every 3.5 cm allows for precise length adjustment to a specific installation site – without the need to buy more than necessary.
Installation and operation – simple, but not simplified
The 24V DC voltage is a compromise between safety and efficiency – lower than 48V (safer), but high enough to avoid power losses over longer lines. Compared to 12V strips, this strip allows for longer sections without voltage drop and flickering. The 10 mm width makes it easy to hide under moldings or in tight spaces.
There are no "magic" features here – only solid construction: well-soldered diodes, a uniformly distributed silicone layer, and a copper substrate of appropriate thickness. This is not a "for now" strip, but one that will work for years.
