FlowGuard PVC-C Pipes – Durable and versatile solution for water installations
FlowGuard PVC-C pipes are an advanced solution for building water installations, both for hot and cold water, as well as in air conditioning and industrial systems. Made of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C), they are characterized by exceptional durability and resistance to external factors, ensuring trouble-free operation for at least 50 years. This system is particularly valued for its ease of installation and wide range of applications.
FlowGuard pipes are available in various diameters, including the popular 2”, and up to 2” they are produced in a cal system compatible with copper pipe standards (CTS), which facilitates the replacement of existing installations. Above 2” pipes are available in the IPS (Iron Pipe Size) system. Connecting pipes and fittings is done using aggressive adhesives, providing tight and durable connections that withstand pressure tests up to 27.6 bar (at 23°C for the CTS system). Installation is quick and safe – a connection takes no longer than a minute, even at lower ambient temperatures.
Advantages and benefits:
- Exceptional durability: A minimum 50-year warranty ensures long-term reliability of the installation.
- Chemical resistance: PVC-C pipes are resistant to the action of several hundred chemical compounds, allowing their use in various industrial applications.
- No corrosion: The material does not corrode, eliminating the risk of water contamination and damage to the installation.
- Biological inertness: The pipes are physiologically and microbiologically inert, ensuring safety for users' health.
- Easy installation: Quick and simple gluing does not require specialized tools or electricity.
- Low thermal conductivity: Reduces heat loss and limits the risk of condensation on cold water pipes.
- Damping properties: Reduction of vibrations and noise ensures user comfort.
- Lightweight: Several times lighter than traditional materials, making transport and installation easier.
- Smooth inner surface: Reduces flow resistance, allowing the use of smaller diameter pipes.
- Fire safety: The material does not support the combustion process and releases small amounts of smoke during burning.
- Electrical insulation: no galvanic and electrochemical corrosion
Applications:
FlowGuard PVC-C pipes are used in:
- Hot and cold water installations in residential and commercial buildings.
- Air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Industrial installations for the transport of various chemical compounds.
- Drainage of condensate from air conditioning units.
Thanks to their properties, FlowGuard PVC-C pipes are an ideal solution for both professional installers looking for a reliable, high-quality material, and for end-users who value the durability and safety of water installations. This system offers a comprehensive solution, including a wide selection of fittings and the possibility of connection with other installation systems using threaded or flanged elements.
