Presence sensor – extended range and flexible configuration

This presence sensor, acting as a subordinate element, is designed to work with 230 V master sensors, effectively extending the detection area. It is an ideal solution for larger rooms or those with a complex layout where a single sensor does not provide full coverage. Surface mounting and a high degree of protection IP54 make it suitable for various applications – both in commercial and residential buildings.

Functionality and configuration options

The sensor stands out with advanced configuration functions, available through the dedicated Niko Detector Tool application (for iOS and Android systems) and two-way Bluetooth communication. This allows for precise adjustment of operating parameters to specific installation needs. The ability to adjust the PIR sensitivity (at four levels), create an event log, and lock settings with a PIN code are just some of the available options. The master/slave system allows connecting up to 10 secondary sensors, and wireless communication with an amplifier function guarantees stable operation of the entire system.

Construction and technical parameters

The housing made of durable thermoplastic provides durability and resistance to mechanical damage (IK02). The IP54 degree of protection protects against moisture and dust, allowing installation in less demanding environmental conditions. Compact dimensions (100 x 100 x 50 mm) and white color (close to RAL 9010) allow for discreet integration with the surroundings. The power supply is 230 V AC, and the maximum switching power is 2300 W for a resistive load or 350 W for an LED load. The use of plug-in terminals facilitates and speeds up the installation process.
