Intelligent energy management and installation protection

The OM-310 power limiter is an advanced device designed for comprehensive protection of electrical installations and receivers. Its main task is to monitor the parameters of a three-phase network and react to irregularities, such as exceeding power, incorrect voltage or phase asymmetry. The device not only protects against damage, but also enables remote control of the load and analysis of energy consumption.

Functionality and application

OM-310 offers a wide range of functions, including: protecting the consumer against irregularities in the network, completely or partially disconnecting the load in the event of exceeding the power threshold, measuring and indicating key network parameters (voltage, currents, active, reactive and total power and power factor), notifying of failures and remote control of the load via the RS-232/RS485 interface or an external switch. The device works with loads from 2.5 kW to 30 kW using built-in current transformers, and even up to 350 kW using external transformers. This makes it suitable for both home and industrial installations.

Safety and reliability

OM-310 provides multi-level protection of the electrical installation. It protects against unacceptable voltage surges, phase failure, incorrect phase sequence and voltage asymmetry. Additionally, it protects against exceeding the maximum current in individual phases and against leakage currents to ground. The ability to allow or block automatic reconnection of the load increases flexibility and adaptation to specific user needs. The device controls the magnetic starter coil (contactor), ensuring effective protection of connected devices. Therefore, limiting power consumption is not only energy saving but above all, user safety.
