Voltage, symmetry and phase sequence control relay RNPP-316-500 NTRNP3160
Voltage control, symmetry and phase sequence relay – reliable protection for your installation
The RNPP-316-500 relay is an advanced device designed for comprehensive control of three-phase network parameters. It provides not only protection against voltage irregularities, but also monitors phase sequence and symmetry, which translates into longer life of connected devices and minimization of failure risk. It is a key element in power systems for sensitive receivers, such as refrigeration, ventilation systems or AVR cabinets.
Functions and application
The RNPP-316-500 device measures the effective (TRMS) line voltage, simultaneously controlling the permissible voltage level and the correct phase sequence. It also detects phase short-circuiting and voltage asymmetry. If an irregularity is detected, the relay automatically disconnects the load, protecting it from damage. After the correct network parameters are restored, the device automatically restarts the load after a set APZ (automatic restart) time. Additionally, the relay informs about the presence of voltage on each phase and signals failures. Neutral wire control is performed indirectly.
Thanks to the ability to adjust parameters – the voltage activation threshold (with separate adjustment for minimum and maximum voltage), APZ time and delay time of protection activation – the RNPP-316-500 can be precisely adapted to the specific requirements of the installation. It has two independent groups of output contacts (1-2-3, 4-5-6), which increases its functionality and flexibility in application. In the idle state, contacts 1-2 and 4-5 are closed, and 2-3 and 5-6 are open – which facilitates integration with existing control systems. Load disconnection occurs by interrupting the contactor coil circuit (MP).
Construction and parameters
The relay is characterized by a compact housing with a width of 2 DIN (36 mm), which facilitates mounting in electrical switchboards. Settings are configured using regulators (knobs), and information about the device status is presented using indicators. The nominal operating voltage is 230/400 AC (phase/line), and the maximum load current is determined by the contactor used, but does not exceed 5A. The device protects against phase loss, phase asymmetry, phase reversal and phase short-circuiting.
