Universal box for drywall – reliability and installation safety

This double box for drywall HG 47-DV is a solid solution for installers and end-users, providing safe and durable electrical connections. Designed for mounting in walls with a minimum installation depth of 47 mm and a plate thickness of 5 to 40 mm, it offers great flexibility in various types of construction. Design and functionality

The HG 47-DV box has been designed with ease and speed of installation in mind. It has as many as 12 inlets, allowing the connection of cables with a cross-section of up to 2.5 mm². Combined cable glands (up to diameters of 20/25 mm) and dedicated inlets for NYM cables of various thicknesses (1.5 mm² - 5 x 2.5 mm²) ensure versatility of application. Installation is done with screws, and the cover is also attached with screws, ensuring stability and a secure connection. Additionally, the box is compatible with ZH 11-V connectors, allowing serial connection of boxes for easier cable routing.

Safety first

The box made of halogen-free plastic is a key feature that increases the safety of the installation. In the event of a fire, halogen-free materials do not release toxic fumes, minimizing the risk to health and life. The box has a protection class of IP30, which provides basic protection against accidental contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm. Cable glands with knockouts also facilitate the installation of M20 or M25 cable glands in the same hole. The oval shape of the box and the orange color make it easier to identify in the installation.
