Additionally, the box has universal cable glands with a diameter of 20 and 25 mm, which allows it to be adapted to different types of cables. The ability to connect with other boxes using ZH 11-V connectors makes it easier to create extensive installation systems.

The halogen-free material from which the HG 61 box is made minimizes the risk of releasing toxic fumes in the event of a fire, which translates to increased user safety. The IP30 degree of protection provides basic protection against accidental contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm. The box is adapted for wires with a maximum cross-section of 2.5 mm², which allows for the safe connection of most standard electrical installations.
