Robust cable tray for electrical systems

The SKS 60/500/1.5 cable tray is a component of the OBO BETTERMANN heavy-duty cable tray system, designed for the safe and organized routing of electrical installations. A height of 60 mm and a width of 500 mm provide space for a large number of cables, and a length of 3 meters makes it easy to adapt to specific needs. Made of 1.5 mm thick steel and protected with hot-dip galvanizing, it guarantees durability and corrosion resistance even in harsh environmental conditions.

Construction and installation

The tray has mounting perforation on the bottom and side, making it easy to attach accessories and adapt to the specifics of the installation. The adjustable support spacing from 1.5 to 3 meters provides flexibility during design and installation. A connector is included in the set, simplifying the connection of successive sections of the tray. This allows installers to quickly and efficiently implement projects, minimizing downtime.

Strength and safety

The SKS 650 FS tray is characterized by a high load capacity, confirmed by tests in accordance with IEC 61537 standard (Type II). The safe working load varies depending on the support spacing – 2650 N/m at 1.5 m spacing, 1800 N/m at 2.0 m spacing, 1150 N/m at 2.5 m spacing and 500 N/m at 3.0 m spacing. The useful cross-section of 29800 mm² allows for the free routing of even extensive cable bundles. The lack of a cover provides easy access to the cables during maintenance or modification of the installation. The use of steel provides solid protection of the cables against mechanical damage, which translates into the reliability of the entire electrical system.
