SKS 85 Cable System – A Solid Foundation for Installation

The SKS 85 cable tray is a component of heavy-duty cable systems, designed for the safe and organized routing of electrical installations. It features a side height of 85 mm and provides high load-bearing capacity, making it an ideal solution for both professional installers and demanding industrial applications. Made of steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm, with a galvanized surface, it guarantees durability and corrosion resistance.

Design and Application

The SKS 85 tray is designed for mounting with support spacing from 1.5 to 3 meters. Mounting perforation in the bottom part and side perforation facilitate the attachment of accessories and adaptation of the tray to individual installation needs. The model is equipped with connectors, which simplifies the assembly process and ensures the stability of the entire structure. A useful cross-section of 42300 mm² allows for the free routing of a large number of cables.

Strength and Safety

The SKS 85 cable tray meets the requirements of IEC 61537 standard (Type II), which confirms its safety and reliability. The permissible working load varies depending on the support spacing: at 1.5 m spacing it is 2800 N/m, at 2.0 m – 2250 N/m, at 2.5 m – 1500 N/m, and at 3.0 m – 750 N/m.

The high load-bearing capacity of the tray allows for the safe routing of heavy cables and equipment without the risk of damage to the installation. The weight of the tray is 7.22 kg/m, which should be taken into account when designing the supporting system. Galvanic zinc coating provides effective protection against corrosion, even in harsh environmental conditions.
