Design and functionality

The UG 66 box has been designed with ease of installation and subsequent operation in mind. It has 13 inlets, allowing for flexible cable routing with a diameter of 20/25 mm. Four screw domes allow for precise adjustment of sockets and switches, compensating for any inaccuracies in drilling holes. The patented bayonet lock allows for stable connection of several boxes in a row, making it easier to create complex installations. Additionally, the box has cable glands with knockouts and openings at the back, increasing the possibilities of adaptation to different installation conditions.

It is worth noting the universal cable glands – clearly marked sizes facilitate the selection of the appropriate cable duct (M20 or M25). Flexible protrusions in the holes adapt to the diameter of the cable glands, ensuring a tight and secure fit. The box design allows for both screw and expansion mounting, adapting to the specifics of the substrate. The IP30 degree of protection provides basic protection against touching and the ingress of solid objects.
