The FRD 2-24 surge arrester is designed to operate in systems with a rated voltage of AC up to 19V and DC up to 28V. Its ability to dissipate a peak discharge current of 2.5 kA guarantees effective protection against the effects of atmospheric discharges or induced surges. Protection levels line/line (120 V) and line/ground (60 V) provide a high degree of safety for connected devices. The IP20 degree of protection indicates protection against accidental contact. The rated current of the device is 0.2 A. Mounting is done using clamps on a standard DIN TH-35 mm mounting rail.
