Flexible connection cable with EURO plug for portable devices

The H05RR-F cable with a cross-section of 2 × 1,5 mm² and a length of 3 meters is a basic solution for powering portable electrical devices in domestic and workshop conditions. The straight OW type plug (EURO CEE 7/16) fits standard sockets throughout Europe - simply plug it in and the device works.

Construction and materials

The insulation and sheath made of rubber (H05RR-F) provide better mechanical resistance than typical PVC insulated cables. Rubber protects against minor surface damage, abrasions, and the influence of moisture - which is important especially in workshops and utility rooms. The cable is flexible and easy to lay out, but it is not coiled - once unfolded, it lies flat or freely, without a spring effect.

The two-core construction (without a protective conductor) means that the cable is intended for Class II protection devices - those marked with the □□ symbol (double insulation). There is no need to connect an earth pin; the device protects itself through its own insulation.

Application and compatibility

The EURO CEE 7/16 plug is the most popular standard in Poland and most European countries - it fits mains sockets without any adapters. The 1,5 mm² cross-section allows for a current load suitable for typical household devices: pumps, fans, power tools with medium power consumption, or work lighting.

The 3 m length is effective as:

• a power extension where the socket is far from the workplace,
• a service lead at an assembly or service station,
• a connection for portable devices used sporadically in various locations.

The IP20 protection rating means that the cable is not intended for exposure to rain or dust - use it only in dry indoor areas or outdoors only in sheltered places.

Operating parameters

The cable operates at a rated voltage of 230 V. Two cores with a cross-section of 1,5 mm² each provide sufficient current-carrying capacity for devices used in households and light workshops. The black rubber sheath masks dirt well - the cable is suitable for both permanent installation and frequent transport.

The cable is not oil-resistant - avoid contact with oils, greases, and chemical solvents. The manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty.
