PP-HT 75x1.9x315 sanitary pipe, for indoor sewage, ash color, Onnline CCP637
High-temperature polypropylene in indoor installations
The PP-HT pipe with a nominal diameter of 75 mm (outer diameter 78 mm) and a length of 315 mm is a fundamental element of indoor sewage systems in residential, public utility, and industrial buildings. High-temperature polypropylene (HT) is characterized by increased resistance to hot wastewater - typically up to 90°C during continuous operation and even higher momentarily - making it a versatile material for draining wastewater from kitchens, bathrooms, as well as washing machines or dishwashers.
The ash (gray) color is a standard palette used in sanitary installations, facilitating the identification of the type of conduit on a construction site. The wall thickness of 1.9 mm ensures adequate stiffness while maintaining low self-weight - the pipe weighs very little, which significantly speeds up and facilitates transport and assembly itself.
Chemical resistance and operating conditions
Polypropylene is characterized by good resistance to most chemical substances commonly found in domestic wastewater - detergents, soaps, organic fats. The material does not corrode, rot, or undergo biological growth under typical operating conditions. The internal surface of the pipe is smooth, which minimizes the accumulation of contaminants and the risk of blockages.
PP-HT sewage systems perform well in conditions where the temperature of the discharged media may periodically increase - e.g., when pouring boiling water or during the intensive operation of household appliances. Compared to traditional PVC-U, polypropylene offers better thermal resistance without losing the flexibility of the connections.
Installation and system compatibility
PP-HT pipes are available in various commercial lengths - the 315 mm element is a typical intermediate or inspection section in a sewage line. Joining is performed using sockets with elastomeric seals (socket), which ensures a leak-proof connection with minimal effort - without gluing or welding. Factory-mounted seals speed up installation and eliminate the risk of execution errors.
The 75/78 mm diameter is a popular dimension used as a toilet connection (before the elbow), sewage stacks in multi-family buildings, and horizontal drains in laundry installations. The pipe is compatible with the full range of PP-HT fittings of the same diameter range - elbows, tees, reductions, and couplings - available from most sewage system manufacturers.
When designing the route, minimum slopes for horizontal sections (typically 2-3 cm/m) must be taken into account, and appropriate structural support must be maintained for horizontal conduits - polypropylene is rigid, but under mechanical load or temperature, it may move along its axis.
